Realizing the importance of groundnut cultivation in terms of number of farmers involved and the adverse impact of aflatoxin in price realization by farmers from Anantapur, the Managing Director of Sree Rayalseema Green Energy Limited, Mr. Kotrike Madhusudan appointed TRUAGRICO to conduct Situational Analysis of Aflatoxin Contamination in Groundnut in Anantapur.

Accordingly, an attempt has been made in this report to identify the major reasons behind aflatoxin contamination and effective solutions have been provided to prevent the same during cultivation, harvest, post-harvest practices and storage stage.
